The x402 protocol is a payment standard built by @coinbase and @Cloudflare.

It uses the HTTP 402 "Payment Required" code. Regular internet payments require a human to enter credit card details or log into an account.

AI agents cannot do this. x402 solves this problem by letting machines read a price tag, send a fraction of a cent in USDC on a network like Base, and instantly get the data they requested.

Heurist have made solid contribution to the x402 ecosystem.

@heurist_ai connects AI agents to the x402 payment system in two main ways.

First, it sells premium crypto data and AI computing power to other agents, accepting instant x402 payments.

Second, it works as a payment facilitator, helping outside developers accept x402 payments without building the blockchain infrastructure themselves.

Let the builders keep building.
