Sure this is good and all should sign, but the legal migration is what needs an inquiry. What deal did Starmer make with India? That's the most visible change over the past few years, especially with their hiring tactics once employed. Why so many Chinese students? The Arab increase goes without saying at this stage. Boris and Starmer's reign are the worst, but this goes back years, so what entity is ordering it to happen? Go back further, what leg-ups/grants did foreign born people get in the 80s and 90s to take over most corner shops, post offices, takeaways, rental properties and petrol stations? 🚨🇬🇧185 MIGRANT BOATS STOPPED? I CHECKED THE HOME OFFICE DATA — AND FOUND A PROBLEM

The Government has announced:

“FRANCE PREVENTS 185 BOATS AND 4,300 MIGRANTS REACHING UK SHORES.”

It sounds impressive.

But before accepting another Government headline about its supposed progress in the Channel, I checked the Home Office's own data.

And there is a problem.

The underlying statistic does NOT actually say:

185 BOATS PREVENTED.

It says:

185 “SMALL BOAT CROSSING EVENTS” PREVENTED.

That distinction matters.

Because according to the Home Office's own methodology, a prevented “event” can include:

— a boat prevented from departing or returned to France;

— a find of general maritime equipment;

— an arrest of a facilitator linked to small-boat crossings.

Yet somehow 185 EVENTS became:

“185 BOATS”

in the Government headline.

So how many of those 185 were actually boats?

The published statistics don't tell us.

There is no public breakdown showing how many were boats, equipment finds or facilitator arrests.

Then there is the claim that 4,300 migrants were prevented.

Home Office statistical guidance itself warns that attempted-entry figures can include the same individual being detected or attempting entry more than once.

So we cannot simply assume this represents 4,300 different people permanently prevented from reaching Britain.

And this is the wider point.

THE CHANNEL CRISIS HAS NOT BEEN SOLVED.

Boats continue to cross.

People continue to arrive.

And British taxpayers continue to pour enormous sums into policies supposedly intended to tackle the problem.

Now we are being presented with a headline claiming “185 boats” were prevented when the underlying published statistic actually measures 185 events — a category broad enough to include things that aren't boats at all.

That isn't the transparency the British public deserves.

If the Government wants these figures presented as evidence that its approach is working, then publish the full breakdown.

HOW MANY OF THE 185 EVENTS WERE ACTUALLY BOATS?

HOW MANY WERE EQUIPMENT FINDS?

HOW MANY WERE FACILITATOR ARRESTS?

HOW MANY OF THE 4,300 WERE UNIQUE INDIVIDUALS?

And above all:

HOW MANY PEOPLE STILL REACHED BRITAIN WHILE THE GOVERNMENT WAS CLAIMING SUCCESS?

Those are the numbers that matter.

I have repeatedly argued that Britain's continuing inability — or unwillingness — to secure its borders demands far greater scrutiny.

But whatever conclusion you reach about why this continues, one thing should be beyond dispute:

THE GOVERNMENT SHOULD NOT NEED CLEVER STATISTICAL PRESENTATION TO PROVE THAT ITS BORDER POLICY IS WORKING.

If it is working, show us the complete numbers.
