Seeing this kind of mobilization should make us reflect. If thousands of people can be mobilized for the wrong reasons, then our failure lies not only in disagreeing with them, but also in our inability to inspire, organize, and build communities around the values we claim to defend.
I hate it when my brain finally captures the structure needed to finish a complex task, then suddenly feel very sleepy. Omfg. Fck. Fkcking fuck.
I WON'T REMEMBER THIS IF I STOP NOWWWWW. BUT IM ALSO REALLY REALLY SLEEPY
There is something deeply troubling about a society that is quick to demand the harshest punishment for children, while celebrating convicted plunderers, tolerating corruption, and rewarding leaders who normalize violence.
Young people do not grow up in a vacuum. They learn from the values we model, the behavior we reward, and the systems we build around them. Violence rarely begins at the moment it becomes visible. It is often preceded by bullying, social isolation, neglect, untreated trauma, and countless missed opportunities for intervention.
If we want children to reject violence, then we must also be willing to examine the ways our society excuses, glorifies, and profits from it. We cannot celebrate violence among adults and expect young people to learn a different lesson.
By imposing sanctions on the Philippine Secretary of National Defense, China is striking at the sovereign decisions of the Republic of the Philippines. As a Cabinet official and the President’s alter ego on defense and security, Secretary Gilberto “Gibo” Teodoro articulates and implements national policy. Punishing him and his family for doing so is a direct affront not only to him, but to the President, the Philippine state, and our constitutional order.
This marks a clear escalation in China’s pattern of coercion and intimidation against a smaller neighbor that, despite repeated provocations, has consistently responded with diplomacy, restraint, and adherence to the rule of law. The Philippines has chosen legal remedies, including the legally binding 2016 arbitral award, and transparent, rules-based engagement instead of brinkmanship.
By sanctioning a sitting Cabinet member for defending an arbitral ruling and asserting rights guaranteed under international law, China diminishes its own standing in the community of nations. Such actions undermine its claim to be a responsible major power and only strengthen the resolve of democracies — big and small — to stand together against coercion.
Na para bang pwede magdelusyon ng PR package ng headphone kahit never naman ako nagpost ng tech review. Ganito na ba targetted ads ngayon.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
@drevv_y@JhooaaaanaMikha So, there is a huge difference between image interpolation and ai-generated images. If you are saying there is none, then you are implying that the technology native to most phones are the same as AI image generation.
@drevv_y@JhooaaaanaMikha So whatever it is you upload in a free ai tool can be used to train the model, it does not come with a data processing agreement, it does not come with an audit trail for regulators, and there is also no vendor liability for leaks.
Alan Peter Cayetano’s law school batchmates are calling him out for enabling a constitutional crisis.
Sabi nila, stop power-tripping the Senate, face the Ombudsman, and quit shielding Bato dela Rosa from the law under the guise of fake "protective custody."
Literal na tinuruan siya ng separation of powers, pero bakit anyare sa memory natin, gurl?
Fiat justitia ruat caelum.
Let justice be done though the heavens fall!
