Covid is going up pretty significantly everywhere right now, so I say this as a caution, not for sympathy: my life is nearly unrecognizable since I got Covid in 2022. I have what’s considered very mild long Covid. What does that mean?…
“I would love nothing more than to ‘finally ignore COVID’.. As a healthy, vaccinated 35-year-old, I did what he said: I ignored COVID on a weekend trip with friends in 2022. But the infection I got as a result has all but destroyed my life.” #LongCovid https://t.co/K2MYk0arfN
I’ve spent much of this year learning about car bloat, the process through which smaller vehicles are being replaced by increasingly massive SUVs and trucks.
What I’ve learned: Huge cars are terrible for society, often in ways that are hidden.
A summary 🧵

Educate public about the true risks and how transmission occurs.
Restart free testing and sequencing.

If THIS is what it takes to make a maskless indoor event safe? Then why aren't regular people able to access these tools? Why are we supposed to work, live, shop, & eat in unventilated buildings and pretend the pandemic is over, while the rich get SAFETY? https://t.co/nIn75V4SG9
When you're seeing photos of maskless rich people partying? This is what you're not seeing. They've all tested beforehand and screened their guests, using MULTIPLE layers of protection. They are not taking any chances with this virus, because they know it is very, very serious.
