@Eliwritesonline@Wraithverg@ANTHONYBLOGAN Your position is so indefensible it makes you look so stupid. Are you really that stupid? It's your space and someone is invading it. You ask them to leave. If they don't it's trespassing. It's not criminal trespassing but it's trespassing.
@Eliwritesonline@Wraithverg@ANTHONYBLOGAN You don't need to be any of those things to tell someone to get out of your space. Again, think about someone coming up to your table with your family at a restaurant and sitting down uninvited. Would you tell them to leave? You're not owner. Not an authority. Just dumb.
@Draven_X_23 It wasn't illegal, but even if it was, it has nothing to do with anything. Legal self defense would still be legal self defense. Murder would still be murder. It's a silly thing to focus on. He wasn't charged for having the knife because it wasn't illegal.
@_ReeMiddleChild So you're saying a black juror would have found him not guilty even though he obviously was because of skin color? Y'all shouldn't be on juries.
@Draven_X_23 The knife was legal to carry which is why he wasn't charged for that. It's against school rules. But none of that matters. It's what he chose to do with it that's the problem.
@ksdotlewis The knife being legal to carry doesn't matter one bit. It was not a public tent. It was Memorial tent, and once he was asked to leave he was trespassing. It's the same as if some stranger sat at your table with you and your family at a restaurant. You can make them leave.
@AngryFeralKitty@ClaireFosterPHD Karmelo was afforded stand your ground protections. The jury was instructed that he had no duty to retreat and they couldn't take his failure to do so into consideration. The problem was he had no legit self defense claim.
@ClaireFosterPHD He wasn't defending himself, you vile liar. What was the imminent deadly threat to Karmelo? He was the one instigating and he didn't have a scratch on him.
@theworkingmans@BreannaMorello That was already challenged and the prosecution had non-race reasons for excusing them. He's spending at least 20 years in prison.
@Eliwritesonline@Wraithverg@ANTHONYBLOGAN He was. It's the same as being in a restaurant some rando coming and sitting it your table. It's your space. They're trespassing. Once you're asked to leave a space, you're trespassing.
