In response to the hurricane that devastated Tampa, FL last week, we travelled up the coast to assess the damages of the storm and review ways autonomous drones can make a large impact following the ruin of natural disasters.

What we learned from Milton:
In the aftermath of a disaster, every second counts towards the safety of the citizens. By arming first responders on the ground with insights from the sky, highly efficient relief efforts can be organized and managed from an aerial point of view to optimize resource volume and reach those in need faster.
Autonomous drones are able to supply emergency personnel with information about damaged infrastructure, blocked roads, areas of extreme flooding, and those in need of immediate help, maximizing the impact of disaster response.
