@Mustardtiger991 @Alisha12287 @GraceREThomas Which is why I always ask. Sitting completely isolated, surrounded by empty seats/space can be nerve wracking too.
@ZzzVRCH@Alisha12287 @GraceREThomas Hypervigilance isn’t fear. It’s a PTSD response. It isn’t “thoughts.” Both genders were involved in my COCSA. Gender has zero to do with a PTSD response. Also, yes I’ve been in multiple types of therapy. EMDR has been the most effective thus far.
@LostTogetherCda @Alisha12287 @GraceREThomas Fair. I would ask if I could sit there first because sitting in a completely empty seat even against the window makes my hypervigilance go on speed.
@Alisha12287 @GraceREThomas As a woman I would sit next to another woman on the bus/train when it was empty to close off at least one avenue of attack — the others are still open but one is not.
@seananmcguire As a disabled person, keeping Teysa’s cane was huge (even if I hate that she died) and I really was glad for it — so it definitely had a positive effect for me.
@Stanley_Studios@A22en Yes, but then you have to wait to do it, or just shrug and not play because you’re only missing one or two cards. I have never had a good experience with TCG player. Congrats if you have. In my experience, shipping costs more than the cards and they come damaged.
@Stanley_Studios@A22en It doesn’t really help accessibility when game stores in areas are no longer selling singles because they aren’t “worth it.” It forces the “budget” players to crack packs and stick to standard
@NicoAPerrin @A22en It doesn’t let more people in, it cuts people out because when stores can’t sell singles without losing money building a nonstandard deck becomes incredibly difficult and “budget” options become impossible to find irl
@PleasantKenobi I love Doctor Who and I love Magic, but I HATE Universes Beyond. It completely prevents immersion for me, and LOTR/The Ring has been horrific in the meta. It really restricts what I can play if I don’t want the world broken.
@slyall@BraidTug@seananmcguire It is different because these bots are trained to mimic the hat they read. They are taught to quote. That’s why you have AI writing Harry Potter books.
