@odo_sean@hextml is a snazzy tool that offers a Secret Notes area for a GM. Players can take their own notes simultaneously.
Great for campaigns focused on exploring and lore mastering at the same time.
@TheNotebookGM Hey, what was the link to that map site you used...hex...somethin? It seems pretty user-friendly...think it's also easily translatable to a paper medium if you kinda make the map on the site and then "trace?" Are the files shareable?
One of my favorite feature of Hextml is submaps. They can be used to split the world into multiple continent, create more detailed maps, etc... #ttrpg#worldbuilding#hexmap https://t.co/b4mQJ64yZq https://t.co/XgSoHo0izo
For a while now Hextml has had the ability to change the zoom but it has been really enhanced recently #worldbuilding#ttrpg https://t.co/b4mQJ6mao0 https://t.co/LK9yXrcDVM
Probably the feature I'm the most proud of in #hextml : the collaborative mode. Make maps with your friends or transforme hextml into a#virtualtabletop https://t.co/b4mQJ64yZq https://t.co/MRNRt3tArD
When the map is too big for you screen you can use the outline mode, while activated you only see hexes that contains something (notes, secret notes, symbols, ...) #worldbuiding#ttrpg#hexmap#map https://t.co/b4mQJ64yZq https://t.co/SaQP2uv7A4
The tiles included in #hextml are sometimes not enough, well good news everyone! It's perfectly possible to use custom tiles and symbols either from your computer or from anywhere on the internet #hexmap#worldbuilding#ttrpg#map https://t.co/b4mQJ64yZq https://t.co/Y0H3iDXy4E
Is the interface of Hextml kind of get in the way? It was for me so a while ago I made the "GM mode", it is a way to easily get from an hex to another without the complex interface of Hextml showing #ttrpg#hexmap#worldbuilding https://t.co/b4mQJ64yZq https://t.co/K7YvuSaQFH
Let's see how to use any image from anywhere on internet as the background of your #hextml map. It's especially useful for battlemaps an even better with the fog of war. Other examples: https://t.co/C5wn7PKs3j #worldbuilding#ttrpg https://t.co/b4mQJ64yZq https://t.co/tCJa3PrqQs
@hextml Thanks! Hextml looks like a useful program.
I made this map with stamps and stencils, which are available at https://t.co/ISRkRJYUEa. I may release digital versions of the stamps someday, but for now I'm focusing on paper and ink mapping tools, which can be used by hand.
@supergeekmike If you're interested I made a campaign manager/map maker for my west marches campaign, it's called Hextml and you can use it (for free) here: https://t.co/b4mQJ6mao0 #ttrpg#hexmap
