@e3z9b_qI1ytkw Without a doubt - and he may be the living definition of what Dr. Hawkins wrote of and tried to explain- Force (which is taken, manufactured and temporary) always has to submit to Power (which given, and authentic and lasting)…..
@ByMHarrington It’s an interesting discussion more broadly- If Ruff coached the talent with a more modern possession movement use of space approach instead of 1980-1990 dump and chase which doesn’t fit the skill set….. they might have won a cup - plenty of talent no coaching creativity
@hockeylogic All due respect but the NHL has proven for years player development is not the priority. Even tho NCAA as amateur athletics jumped the shark years ago , NHL input and impact only underscores what’s really the situation.
Only 10 times in NBA history has a player averaged 20 points, 10 rebounds, and 5 assists during the playoffs for the NBA Champions.
Only two players have done it twice:
- Bill Russell (1962, 1963)
- Larry Bird (1981, 1984)
Legends.
@akirwan@ScoutingTheRefs True except for the 30 years as an on ice official at the pro level and using this rule sets - other than that your 100% correct
