never did i think i would say that watching mad men could actually lead to higher consciousness in of itself

[bě @heyBerniee]

mad men is the only show i’ve ever seen that feels like reading a really great book - that is very, very special

i thought this to myself, then i recalled reading someone else say the same thing on here a few days ago

sometimes, when im watching it - i see the screenplay come to life

ATSV, Guardians 3, The Batman - the only exceptions.

superhero movies are not great anymore in the 2020s, they’re just good.

[bě @heyBerniee]

and not to sound pompous, but i do wonder how other people view the show because of this.

the amount of subtext and depth in almost every scene is astounding.

when i say your level of media literacy determines why or why not you love something, that goes for every show - but especially, especially Mad Men.

it is to me, the most thought-out, and personally written show.

[bě @heyBerniee]

@ultr4nima the episodic mafia shenanigans are the character development

[girl who's watching the sopranos @mariaaviews]

mad men is not entertaining
