@jac_detmar @MaterGarruli Other breeds you might like are Corriedale (or cormo which is a cross with merino) or BFL. These all have longer staple lengths than merino but are still skin soft.

@jac_detmar @MaterGarruli Hi! Yes I really enjoy spinning with Rambouillet! Compared to merino it has slight coarser fibers (so it’s not super soft next to skin but just normal soft IMO) and less shinny.
Also I think Rambo has longer staple length than merino which makes it easier to spin.
