I had made over $20,000 on Upwork before I even decided to take my social media presence seriously.

Branding and positioning

“Hey Michael,

I know you hired me to write the entire website content, but the elephant in the room is actually technical not the content itself.

For instance, the loading speed was 14.8 seconds when I tested it on mobile (using PageSpeed Insights and GTmetrix). My premium SEO tool also shows your website currently ranked 543 out of 706 active sites in your region for core visibility metrics.

Digging deeper, I noticed the primary CTA button at the top right-hand corner of the website is too small and low-contrast, thereby affecting the click-through rate on desktop and especially mobile. You might have also recorded a huge churn (bounce rate spike) since the turn of the year. This is largely due to the main call-to-action being placed at the center of the website (instead of above the fold in a high-visibility position) and the testimonial section moved down below the fold (instead of right after the hero section where social proof has maximum impact).

For the blog section, the core/compact keywords are still relevant, but I strongly advise we update the titles, meta descriptions, and content accordingly to score high on recency signals and E-E-A-T (Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness, and Trustworthiness). Google is now heavily rewarding fresh, authoritative content in your niche.

• Immediate fixes (most can be done in 1–2 days)

• Content updates that will directly improve dwell time and conversions

• A revised structure for better user flow
