Whatever the case, the biopsy and analysis of the lymph node should cast a lot of light on what is actually going on. In the meantime Iโm super tired (expected) and feeling decent most of the time. So Iโm just going to keep doing and enjoying what I can โค๏ธ
About that PET scan I did on Monday: it came back looking bad, lots of activity, new lesions and growth ๐ฉ My oncologist decided that it would be best to do a new biopsy of a lymph node to get an updated picture of my cancer. With that info we can decide what to do next ๐๐ผ
I might be experiencing the effects of the CAR-T therapy still, the lesions could actually be clusters of T-cells. I may also have a different cancer that spawned the B-cell lymphoma. My cancer may have evolved and shed its CD19 surface proteins rendering CAR-T ineffective
Getting a PET/CT bright and early in Buffalo on Monday morning. This will let the doctors see if my lesions and tumors have grown/shrunk/disappeared and how metabolically active they are ๐ค๐ผ #dlbcl#cart#immunotherapy
@aanand Iโve got a set of Sony XM3s, I agree, the Bluetooth experience adds more friction than it removes a lot of the time it seems, it also takes about an hour to update the firmware on mine ๐
