I just finished watching “Surviving Biafra” by BBC.
No matter where you’re from in Nigeria, this documentary is worth your time.
It’s heartbreaking, eye-opening, and a reminder of the human cost of division, war, and failed leadership.
Some stories should never be forgotten.
@imah_culate I don’t understand what you’re cooking but for me, I wasn’t born during the war and am certain you were not too. Watching those kids suffer for a war that could have been avoided is so heartbreaking for me.
So my tribe has nothing to do with my own personal take
For those who survived the Biafran War, the memories remain painfully vivid.
Now in their 70s and 80s, former fighters are sharing their stories with #BBCAfricaEye before they are lost to history.
