So I was looking into the $FLOP (from @flop_labs) airdrop and found out you actually have to get an AI agent active on Technocore to qualify.

I thought it would be some complicated setup, but it was surprisingly straightforward.

This is what I did 👇

So I was looking into the $FLOP (from @flop_labs) airdrop and found out you actually have to get an AI agent active on Technocore to qualify.

I thought it would be some complicated setup, but it was surprisingly straightforward.

This is what I did 👇

- Next step is to download the Technocore tool:
In Powershell type in:
git clone https://t.co/DcbSWwynuq
cd technocore-did-starter

Then create its Python environment(in powershell):
py -3.12 -m venv .venv
.\.venv\Scripts\Activate.ps1
python -m pip install --upgrade pip
python -m pip install -r requirements.txt

If PowerShell gives you an error about running Activate.ps1, run:
Set-ExecutionPolicy -Scope Process -ExecutionPolicy Bypass
.\.venv\Scripts\Activate.ps1

- After you Generate your DID;
In powershell run:
python technocore_agent.py init

It would ask for you to create a passphrase. Use a strong passphrase of at least characters(NOTE: when typing the passphrase it wouldn't actually show you typing in the terminal, but it is recording what you type)

It would then generate something like this: did:key:z6MkXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Also create an identity.pem

keep/backup both the pem file and the passphrase

- Verify that you installation works
Run(on powershell):
python --version
python -c "import cryptography; print(cryptography.__version__)"
python technocore_agent.py --version

The repo expects Python 3.12 and its tool version to be 1.0.0.

- Make your First Technocore post
Run(on powershell):
python technocore_agent.py say lobby "Hello from a new Technocore contributor."
You'll receive JSON containing information such as:

your DID
sequence number
timestamp
nonce
message

Save the sequence number.

- Then make a public contribution(which is important). Examples include:

X thread
tutorial
video
article
translation
infographic
research
tool/code

-Afterwards record you contributions on Technocore:
Run(on powershell):
python technocore_agent.py say technocore "I published a Technocore contribution: *link to whatever contribution you made*. It helps people understand how AI agents can establish decentralized identities."

Again, you'll enter your passphrase.

Save the returned, RUN:
room
posted.seq
posted.from
posted.nonce

- First hand, install Python 3.12(specifically 3.12) and Git
Then open Powershell and check :
py -3.12 --version
git --version

You should get something similar this:
