@TheAngelOfAres@Whotfismick to each their own. i like the opportunity to pleasantly surprise people when they’ve worked hard & done a good job, and equally as much i like having an opportunity to hold people accountable for their work. nothing awkward standards are clear and expected.
@TheAngelOfAres@Whotfismick in theory sure, but every time minimum wage, the price of gas/supply, or anything else goes up they just raise prices and people still go. big reason why i try to only support small non-corporate restaurants when possible.
@TheAngelOfAres@Whotfismick but wouldn’t they just pass the new price onto the consumer? at least in this system you can withhold if you receive improper service. if tips are abolished then you lose that option and you pay even more regardless
@TheBrainySeer@ginapanettieri@JohnQPinkney@Bitcoin_Teddy well that’s kind of what happens when teachers are told to pass everyone for two years of school, regardless of if they can even read or not. schools & colleges around the word were told during covid that they couldn’t actually fail anyone.
