@crimsonchaosred I knew DL2 was over when restored land was made for The Beast when that kind of feature is so congruently designed with the world building of DL2. They keep making it less and less of a real part of the universe and more like a fever dream with vague references
@KudosOnYT That still sucks. Battlepasses should not be a “you paid for the right to complete it” it should be “you paid for everything within but must play to unlock it” I’ll forever despise BPs with expiration dates
@GwenpostingTTV Last generation to be encouraged to hang out outside instead of online. I think the Xbox 360 kind of killed teenage hijinks in the traditional sense for most people. Would we really want a story of asking your buddies to hop on world at war and share codes for 2 days of gold
@TheCartelDel I think a big part of it comes from the fact that games are still a new medium for storytelling. We had previous generations making movies about growing up in the 50s and 60s so naturally we are making games about growing up in the 80s and 90s. Those times are still romanticized
@VashKohime Corny is bad when it keeps drawing attention to the fact it’s corny. But when it’s unapologetically corny you appreciate it for what it’s trying to do. Love mixtape
@ranmasaotome96 i think its a 10/10 for what it is. A little indie time capsule with tons of feelings of anemoia. its a love letter for a time that most people will never get a chance to experience again
