Q: Which one would unnie choose?
Doing a job you like but making no money VS Doing a job you don't like but making money. I'm also curious about the reason!
Y: Make money working a job you don't like, and do the job you like (with it)

liked how the very first ep explored a range of emotions jealousy, sadness, insecurity, guilt etc. the characters feel flawed, layered especially ml not our usual idealized, fairytale type portrayals ++

Mingi making puns in Japanese and ATINY joked that he should hang out less with San, but Mingi was NAWT having it 😭😭😭
(Sannie has been on a Korean/English/Japanese journey lately hence why ATINY joked about it)
Post by #WeAreAllTryingHere staff: After watching the premiere yesterday, I was reminded of something an actor said at the party, so I’m writing it down. 'Even if it doesn’t surpass 30% in ratings, it will be a drama people will remember for 30 years.'

Song Won Seop of JoongAng Ilbo, upon examining its core metaphor, frames Mojamussa as an allegory of existential rescue, anchored in the stark directive of 'break through when trapped'. Through Koo Kyo Hwan's raw unraveling Dong Man and Go Youn Jung’s restrained yet perceptive Eun A, the drama suggests that salvation begins the moment one's silent distress is recognised and met with the presence of another.
He also situates the work within writer Park Hae Young’s signature universe, where human worth is constantly negotiated through empathy, recognition, and the interventions of those who see through emotional isolation.

Koo Kyo Hwan also complimented Go Youn Jung and explained that his character talks a lot and delivers most of the lines, but she carried just as much, if not more through her acting.
He said that while he was the one speaking, she responded with her eyes, adding that she “delivered even more lines through her gaze” and essentially created the entire atmosphere of their scenes.
He concluded by saying that she felt like an incredible actress because of how powerfully she could express emotions without words.

Director Cha Young Hoon:
“As the premiere approaches, I feel like I’m sitting on a grill. I keep thinking I could have done better. While I hope for good ratings and buzz, I don’t think this anxiety will go away. The competing dramas are all excellent, so I can’t confidently say we’ll be No. 1 but I do have that hope and ambition. Each drama has its own tone, so I hope viewers support what resonates with them and that our drama will be one of the works discussed together.”

Go Youn Jung:
“There’s a line asking, ‘What is the purpose of life?’ I don’t think I have a clear goal either, but I try to live happily. There’s also a line about ‘bundles of emotion.’ It made me realize how humans are expressed through emotions. If we focus more on positive thoughts, maybe we can become ‘good bundles of emotion.’”

'Koo Kyo Hwan and Go Youn Jung face their lowest emotions in We Are All Trying Here'
Writer Park Hae Young brings out even the most unspoken, uncomfortable thoughts through raw dialogue, crafting flawed characters who are hard to hate.
In this story, Koo Kyo Hwan’s Hwang Dong Man may seem abrasive on the surface, but his fear and insecurity are delicately revealed, while Go Youn Jung’s Byeon Eun A hides deep emotional wounds that unfold beyond her outward actions.
The drama uses “red signals” and “green lights” to trace an emotional journey from self-perceived worthlessness that strains relationships to gradual healing through connection with others.
Ultimately, Mojamussa explores life beyond constant competition, following those who feel left behind as they slowly rediscover peace.
The series premieres April 18 at 10:40 PM on JTBC.

GYJ's interview, the part related to #KimSeonho:

"For Go Yoon-jung, it was a stroke of luck that Kim Seon-ho was cast as Joo Ho-jin, a multilingual interpreter who coordinates romantic relationships. She said she's always admired Kim Seon-ho's acting and has always wanted to collaborate with him at least once.
"When I watch my senior Seonho acting, he gives it when it's time to put in some effort, and when it's time to let it go, he lets it go. I felt that he was really good at a variety of things, from comedy to emotional acting. I always thought it would be nice to have the opportunity to watch and learn from him at least once, and that's how we met. I observed and imitated him a lot while filming. He was about 10 years older than me, and seeing him enjoying himself on set and acting made me think, 'I want to work happily like that in the future too.'"
Go Yoon-jung's sincere teaching of "MZ-style memes" played a significant role in bridging the considerable 10-year generation gap. Thanks to this, Kim Seon-ho even joked with reporters in a previous interview, "Isn't this MZ?"
"Because of the age difference, I really wanted to make sure he didn't feel uncomfortable. Our hair and makeup team are so close and joke around a lot, and my senior, Seonho, who was overhearing our conversation, asked, 'What's so funny about you?' That's when I taught him a meme or two. I taught him really diligently, and since our sense of humor meshed so well, he learned it well. Later, he sang a song to me and said, 'Don't you know this song? You better work hard!' I thought to myself, 'I've raised an amazing person.' Haha."
According to the MBTI personality test, Cha Moo-hee is F (emotional) and Joo Ho-jin is T (rational). In reality, Go Yoon-jung is calm and Kim Seon-ho is emotional. Because their lines were awkward, they exchanged lines and talked a lot, which helped them better understand their characters' emotions.
"Senior Sunho asked me first, 'Don't you think Hojin's lines will be too hurtful?' But I wasn't hurt by those lines at all. Since we had different perspectives, we ended up exchanging scripts and sharing opinions like, 'Is it okay?' and 'How does it sound?' to create an appropriate emotional line. If the emotional range I had initially planned was a bit narrow, after talking to my senior, I would think, 'Oh, it's okay to broaden it a bit,' and make adjustments. It was very helpful."

He said that the male lead's gaze was the key to completing the melodrama, and expressed special affection for Kim Seon-ho, saying that the work would not have been completed without him.
"I think the reason the female lead looks so lovable is because the male lead looks at her with such love. My senior, Seonho, did a fantastic job with that role. I had a lot to do, but I couldn't have accomplished it without him. I relied on him so much, and I learned from him. Having such a great role model beside me inspired me, and I gained a lot of good ideas. It was a time when I truly trusted my colleagues on set and gave my all to do whatever I wanted."
As much as I had trust in Kim Seon-ho, it wasn't that difficult to fall for Joo Ho-jin, who he played.
"In Japan, a woman suddenly showed up, complaining about her struggles because of her ex-boyfriend, and Joo Ho-jin accepted her. He could have refused her unreasonable request to be her interpreter. Even when she returned to Korea and the dancer was in a coma, he visited her several times to check on her well-being. So, of course, she couldn't help but love Ho-jin. However, I thought that love and anxiety would come at the same time. She's clumsy in love and has a childhood trauma."
Go Yoon-jung, who said that she likes an affectionate style like Joo Ho-jin in her usual dating style, revealed that she is also shy but affectionate.
"I'm a bit shy. It takes time to get close to someone, but when we do, I feel sad to part ways. I cried at the last filming of every project. My senior, Seonho, said he never cried, but he cried at the end of this project. He then asked me, 'How could you cry during every filming?' Haha. I'm very affectionate, but I think I'm also not very good at expressing myself. I think I naturally become close to people who express themselves a lot, whether they're friends or lovers."
