@allgarbled So we then have to engage (or not engage) other humans in a way that feels less-than-human.
But this is WRONG. All of it is WRONG. And I can just shrug my shoulders daily at this or I can allow myself to feel the pain and say "there is something so wrong here"
@allgarbled By sin I don't just mean individual choices, though it includes that - but systemic problems, the brokenness of nature (like synaptic pathways misfiring in the brain), being born into a family that causes trauma, etc.
Sin always distorts who we are meant to be as humans.
@KaeleyT I have never met as many brilliant and capable men as I have in my current career. I also have never felt more respected and worthy of friendship AND love.
Strong men love strong women is so true. Insecure men hate strong women.
@LauraRbnsn I watched the Super Bowl with a non-Christian last night. She said "I really like these commercials. I think they do a good job telling what Jesus himself is really about, unlike a lot of people who claim to be Christians."
I was really surprised.
@KeturahAbigail But I say this because there IS another way of viewing comments like this.
And the invitation is still the same today - can I view those who disagree with me with an attitude of friendship and mutual fellowship, ESPECIALLY with other believers?
