when my mom calls and asks about my day, i always end up saying things i didn’t know i was thinking
i wanted to reflect more, and talking felt like the most natural way to do it. so i built a journal that calls you

kinda dropped the ball on building in public, so here’s the latest on @heynookapp :
it’s been a month since release, and we are about to reach ✨150✨ users
made a tiny guy who climbs down to remind me of stuff 🪜
water, stretch, take vitamins, check the mail… any reminder, any time, on repeat
would you use this?
i want nook to be able to notice my screen time, my cycle, my workout routine, etc so it can start our conversations more mindfully
so i’m planning to bring in a few integrations for a more personalised experience
you can request what you’d like to see on the app or here 💛
i released nook a few days ago and was super nervous
so far :
27,000 people saw it
1,302 clicked the link
52 downloaded it
93 calls with nook
these aren't crazy numbers but there's something surreal about 52 real people deciding to sit down & talk to this little thing :')

I help you reflect and grow...
by noticing patterns you’d miss on your own,
by checking in on the things you said were important,
by asking questions that fit your goals
trying to depict real interactions from the app on the website. show not tell is the best way to show value imo;
current copy and visuals will take time to perfect though 🫠
nook now chills on your dynamic island a few mins before your call. it's super interactive and you can tell it to call later if you’re busy
should we add a super fan mode so it lives & moves around on your island? biased opinion but i’d love that
