I gave about 30 bolus doses of morphine last night to a comfort care patient q15 mins ranging from 2.5mg to 25mg. Almost made it to 50mg bolus. Retired RN really said, watch me shake things up at the end of your shift.

Not my preceptor removing the secondary tubing from my zosyn & switching it to an already primed primary line so the ZOSYN can be run as primary??? I went to get a carrier bag but the 2ndry tube was already in the trash. But that’s okay because we’ll fix it at the next dose.

I’m pissed the nurse asked me to co-sign her heparin in her COVID+ room but only told me that patient was Cdiff positive. So I just went in with a gown and simple mask….are you effing kidding me. She wore just a simple mask too 😡
