Nearly 50 years ago, Jimmy Carter attempted to take on the energy powers that be and transition America towards energy independence through clean energy. He lead by example & put solar panels on the White House. He was mocked, and Ronald Reagan tore them down.
Carter was right.
It all goes to show how things like patents & borders are human inventions that ultimately have no bearing on scientific reality. Today’s world is a global society like never before. The entire world will be a covid hot spot until global public health is the single top priority//
But without police, who will arrive after harm has already been committed, fill out some paperwork, and then either do nothing or ruin the lives of everyone involved?
The existence of the death penalty in America is not a deterrent. In fact it serves as the exact opposite. The death penalty models homicide as an acceptable form of problem solving in America.
