From the archives! Remembering a star and diva #LeboMathosa of #Boomshaka who sadly died in a car accident on this day October 23, 2006. MHSRIP but her legacy live for ever. Pleased to have featured them on the #FeliciaShow. Continue to keep the legacy alive #ThembiSeete.
My cousin was born nonverbal autistic. I watched him struggle and learn and grow. He speaks now, and he said the first time he saw an airplane, he remembered what he came to this world for: making them. Decided he was going to speak & actually did. He’s now an aerospace engineer.
If I had half-siblings out in the world, I would only form a relationship with them if they had a good/comparable life to me. Because resentment can make ppl do stupid things and one thing about me, I have self-preservation.
Lebo Mathosa at the MOBO Awards in London, England in September 2006. Today marks the 20th anniversary of her death. She was 29 years old.

No comment on the costume itself but I am lol at my millennial peers aghast that she at 13 knows who Natalie Nunn is while we were mainlining Jerry Springer/ Jenny Jones/ Real World: Las Vegas at even younger ages!
“Need me a girlfriend like Toni Childs, we live in our t-shirts goin wild” was truly insane.
- Toni Childs is from Girlfriends
- Megan is sexually fluid
- They NEVER wore bras in the first few seasons.
- Megan ain’t cheap and neither was Toni
- Girls Gone Wild

I just find this whole discourse shocking. Yall really saying yall are staying married to a man that went out and created an entire child while married to you, and being ok with him abandoning that child, so he can pretend to be devoted to you 😭😭
As a professional AirBnB host, with over 500 5-star reviews... my take is that its all in how you phrase it.
We don't demand that our guests do anything. But we do mention in our departure literature, that "if you have time before your departure, it would help our team if you [insert reasonable task]..."
This includes:
- loading and starting the dishwasher
- starting a load of towels
- strip any used beds
- making sure windows are closed
- place the lid back on the hot tub
- turn off the fireplace
They don't have to do any of these things, and if a guest has to ship out at 4:15am for a early flight, I totally get if they are rushed out the door and leave things a bit of a mess.
But the vast majority of people dont like to leave messes, they like to lightly tidy up a space before they depart.
I truly think the problem was that too many hosts were assigning mandatory unreasonable chores, and people wanted to push back.
21 years ago I named "Reddit" and everyone said it was a horrible name, but I insisted one day people would say "I read it on reddit" and used my CEO-privilege to overrule everyone + kept the name. Now the company twitter account (unbeknownst to them) is making the joke. Heh.
