It had previously earned a Guinness World Record in 2024 for the most cumulative weeks on the UK Singles Chart by a group, and later also became the first song ever to reach the 500-week milestone.

The craziest part? Despite all those records the track never reached #1, peaking at #10 in 2004. Thanks to its extraordinary longevity (driven largely by streaming), it has become the UK's biggest single never to reach #1, turning an initial Top 10 hit into one of the most successful songs in British chart history.
