Women of the night have such lovely personalities, and magnetic energy.
They’re so beautiful.
You have to constantly remind yourself they’re terrible people so you don’t fall for it.
“Work his ass off for money”.
Wetin do your own ass? You don’t want to work? In this economy? It’s like some of you think we’re still living in Bible times.
My good sis, there’s not enough billionaires in the world for all of us to be housewives. You better go and look for work
@Thabisomolapo It's inescapable. Learn and adapt coping mechanisms. Make peace with what you cannot control. Forgive. Love. Give. Be humble. Laugh. That's it. Alcohol or drugs or even video games only steal the time you could be using making peace with yourself and your life.
About 15yrs ago at the start and early years of my career, I looked at employers who valued loyalty above performance with so much disdain. I will say that they were rewarding eye service.
But I was foolish.
Maturity and experience has taught me that performance is not enough. And eye service is not same as loyalty. Even after exit from the company, a loyal employee remains loyal. A high performing but disloyal employee will betray you in times of conflict (be it with competitors, partners, shareholders, etc), can steal, sabotage the business and 1,000 other things. I have seen it happen to me. But a loyal employee will never do that. Infact studies have shown that the highest performing organizations in the world are the ones with high trust and mid average performance over low trust and high performance. This does not mean that employees should not strive to be high performers, neither does it mean employers should demand loyalty at the detriment of the employees's growth.
But In the order of priority - it is loyalty as a value first over performance. It is easier to train a loyal person to become a performer than it is to make a disloyal person become loyal. But overall, an employer who is able to elicit loyalty out of high performing employees will be the ultimate winner.
After over 4 decades of being alive I’ve realized something…you have to bully this life. Don’t spend your time feeling sorry for yourself. Bully the fuck out of this life
If there is one thing we have done well today, it’s moving the ball quick and fast. Considering how Everton defend deep, then that’s good from us. We really have to do this for the rest of the season.
