Also I think it's v important to know that some friendships are not meant to be a part of everything in your life. I got work friends, running friends, creative friends, etc. I used to mix that up and brought some friends to meet my other friends. It was an ugly lesson.

Some friends used me for connections (bc I work with pilots, FAs, and even to connect w my cousins LOL), others turned against me when they gained my other friends and even ruined some of my years long friendships, others even dragged their whole ass relationship.
