Rent, heat and other costs do not go down in your third holiday season on strike.
Can you donate on this #GivingTuesday to help us as we try to hold the @PittsburghPG’s lawbreaking bosses accountable? https://t.co/TCZFc5KU9h
@endlibtyranny@LizShuler@ThePUPNews@CWAUnion The PG constantly flouts labor law. I would suggest you do some reading on the subject before posting a response like this. We strikers will see them in court on Monday. Watch for that report.
@LizShuler@ThePUPNews@CWAUnion It’s embarrassing for @jdvance to say he’s for workers like me and then cross the picket line for the scab @PittsburghPG w/ an op-ed. We’re focused on winning this strike over the law-breaking PG, which refuses to bargain fairly with its workers.
JD Vance is a piece of work.
Post-Gazette workers have been on strike for two years, battling relentless union-busting. Today, he crossed the picket line with his op-ed, throwing @ThePUPNews and @cwaunion members under the bus.
NewsGuild prez @gaufre confirms for me that JD Vance crossed a picket line by publishing an op-ed today in the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, where workers are on strike. No excuse for it, he says.
"JD Vance is a scab just like anybody else who crosses a picket line."

Block family members and their cronies stand in the way of ending the strike by continuing to break federal labor law.

@shaman103@PGHGuild I am a sensible person. I know when to stand up for myself and my colleagues. The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette is breaking the law. It needs to held accountable.
@catfish_chuck @bobbatzjr Check circulation and online usage figures for newspapers. They both count. And are still widely read. Try it -- You might learn something.
I got the opportunity to speak at the Golden Quills dinner tonight after accepting the Press Club Scholarship. Union solidarity forever and always, in private and in public.
