Some thoughts on this moment, this night, as we, humanity, are possibly closer to WW3 than we have ever been:

1. The best time to stop a war, any war, is before it starts.

2. Wars always begin with a big bang.

3. This is certainly what is currently threatened tonight in Israel and Lebanon.

4. And once started this war will have a lot of momentum as it has already been burning in Gaza for nearly 9 months.

5. All wars once started are like incandescent forest fires…..

…. Wars are fuelled by strong winds of hate - as soldiers need to learn to hate in order to kill.

6. Since the Gaza War began over eight months ago it has taken us closer to Armageddon than ever before in Human History on several occasions already.

7. The « calibrated » warning barrage fired by Iran and Hezbollah - after giving Israel a warning, earlier in this war was the closest we have gotten till today.

8. Tonight Israel has not yet crossed the Rubicon, but it is in the middle of the river up to its waist and moving towards the far bank.

9. But the good news is this is also still avoidable, and there is evidence clear evidence that most of the parties to this including Hezbollah are being sane and sensible about this.

Israel less so unfortunately. But the U.S. has finally started to play a strong game and now it needs to step up.

The best time for 🇺🇸 President @JoeBiden to end this - All Of It q- is today and tomorrow - the next 48 hours are critical.

There is a golden hour before the sun sets, and there is a golden hour before a war begins during which people of good will can prevent it from starting.

And that golden hour just started.
