There are loan forgiveness programs that can help reduce, or even eliminate, her debt.

She would be serving the underprivileged community in a noble manner, and paying off her debt.

@Bubblebathgirl She took out a loan, meaning that she must pay it back. You can't get student loans discharged through bankruptcy, either (except in extremely rare circumstances).

She has to read the papers, and see that those were loans, not grants.

Even if he is, then the DA will drop it to a minor misdemeanor charge and let the statutes of limitation take effect.
