Today we mark 81 years since the D-Day landings, remembering the heroism, service and sacrifice of all those who risked and lost their lives as the battle to liberate Europe began. #lestweforget#dday81
Today marks 81 years since #DDay, the largest seaborne invasion in history. D-Day was a truly international effort with British troops fighting alongside many other countries. Join us today as we remember the service & sacrifice of all those involved in turning the tide of #WW2.
Today, we mark the 81st anniversary of the #DDay Normandy landings and remember all those who fought for our freedom on 6 June 1944, and those who gave their lives. #LestWeForget
Thank you so much to @SKurtzCWSP for sitting down with me @WelshConserv conference to talk about farming in Wales. It was really interesting to discuss the issues facing agriculture at the moment #Welsh#Conservatives policies to address this and #fixwales.
We are under new leadership, and we're doing the work to rebuild trust with voters across the country.
That trust is built from the ground up by strong local politicians who care about their area like Paul.
Paul Bristow - Conservative Mayor of Cambridgeshire and Peterborough.
“This policy has to change.”
NFU President Tom Bradshaw (@ProagriLtd) updates after addressing a packed room of NFU members at the first session in Church House for the NFU mass lobby.

Read about why I am standing shoulder-to-shoulder with the farming community; why I will keep up the pressure on Labour’s terrible budget; and how I’ll bring back authentic, values-based conservatism - all in my Telegraph interview today https://t.co/bjWDijJ9Yo
Labour just don’t get it.
Producing food relies upon assets which have high value but that doesn’t mean farmers are multimillionaires. Many farming businesses do not break even.
Labour’s #FamilyFarmTax will not only end family farming but also…. 1/2
Farmers are saying one thing: reverse this farm tax, or it’s the end of British farming as we know it, and the end of thousands of jobs and generations of knowledge. Help us stop Labour’s callous decision: https://t.co/UhUrGihxGV
Keir Starmer doesn’t get farming. It takes decades to learn the skills, and generations to make it a success.
Keir’s Family Farm Tax will force families to sell their farms, putting farmers out of business and crippling the industry.

Beautiful day with some veterans down my way. This is my friend Owen and his Service dog Zaddi, from his Afghanistan tour. She’s too old to stand for the 2 minutes silence now, but on what will probably be her last Remembrance Day, she wanted to parade anyway.
Never forget.
Labour’s plan to eliminate Agricultural Property Relief risks the future of British farming.
Today I met with @NFUtweets and the Morrisons family on their farm near Northallerton to discuss the challenges they face and to offer my full support during these uncertain times.
🥀 Farmers are workers. And so are most shoppers.
❌ Labour's budget raid on family farms will hit them both.

Three years ago, we lost a dedicated public servant and a friend, Sir David Amess.
His passion for his community and kindness to all will never be forgotten.
Today, we honour his legacy and continue to stand united against hatred and violence.
Sharing this for my fabulous friend Trystan & his amazing wife Daisy.
If any of you are able to lend them a bit of support for their crowdfunder below please I know they would be absolutely so appreciative! Thank you so much!

Labour’s plans to charge VAT on independent school fees would have a devastating impact on our local economy and families.
📚 Over 2,000 people are employed by our 10 independent schools in Rutland and Stamford.
📚1 in 8 Rutland children go to an independent school.
📚 Over 1,000 pupils with special educational needs or a disability attend an independent school in Rutland and Stamford.
📚 1 in 5 constituents who are military or veterans in Rutland and Stamford send their children to an independent school.
Labour’s policy would also put significant pressure on our local comprehensive schools, inflating class sizes and reducing the choices available to parents.
