Handicrafts & Handloom Department Ganderbal today conducted a Mega Awareness Program and Seminar at BDO Office Kangan, attracting a large gathering of local artisans and weavers. The program emphasized on various departmental schemes benefitting local Artisans & Weavers.

All artisans and weavers of District Ganderbal are cordially invited to participate in the event, which aims to provide valuable information on financial assistance schemes, Geographical Indication (GI) tagging, branding, packaging, e-commerce and much more.

Distribution of Lighting Units in Outside Cluster development Program under NHDP was organized by Weavers Service Centre, Office of DC Handlooms, Srinagar in collaboration with AD Handloom Ganderbal where 139 lighting units were distributed among weavers of district Ganderbal.
