@BiffPoggi@TheNinerManiac Respectfully There is not a FBS Program in the nation where a 13 game losing streak would be acceptable. I understand losing to better programs but the loss the now 1-3 Citadel isn’t professionally acceptable.
@Hunter_Bailey45 One of our coaches kids responded to a post about the game stating “yo my dads a coach and I agree” to a video which said if I was a (Charlotte) coach I would be fired and Charlotte should be D2 and the program/players is awful. Get you can’t control kids but awful look.
I still maintain that this would be a good (free) photo backdrop to bring to the football stadium on game days. Particularly put it near gate 3 so you could take photos with the stadium expansion in the background. Each photo posted by fans is free advertising. @kevinwhite777
@JoeBrunoWSOC9 Great Idea but as a former student this map is weird. The map really shouldn’t extend to Harris Houston Road neighborhoods (far right). Odd not to include the food lion/boardwalk area. This really should’ve just been a 1 mile circle around the school than strict map.
@Hunter_Bailey45 The resale flow doesn’t really support the idea that there is a strong demand. If you’ve been tracking it prices are down since the announcement about the starters, and while buying picked up in the past 72 hours it’s still only around the 150 range of resold tickets which is low
@wsoctv I’ve seen a number of headlines from the school and public that note a 911 call to UNC Charlotte Police started this but it is widely known that calling 911 goes to CMPD. It is likely worth clarifying the chain in which the “call” came from to how it got to UNC Charlotte. @wsoctv
@JoeBrunoWSOC9@wsoctv Friendly reminder Tryon St. is named after a British General/Governor who fought against and killed North Carolina Revolutionaries pre-American independence.
@JoeBrunoWSOC9 No way a building should go at 7605 University City Boulevard. These people clearly don’t live in our community. No reason to put a major complex on this small land. Developers destroying university city.
@JoeBrunoWSOC9 This trail is a stupid idea. The green area on the bottom of that map turns into a literal lake when it rains. Nobody will use that and the city is wasting $503k. Whoever proposed that obviously doesn’t live here.
@JoeBrunoWSOC9 It is widely unacceptable she’s been allowed to continue on in her role since the issues began this spring. Citizens of this community deserve better.
@JoeBrunoWSOC9 If it’s closed to the public it’s worthless. Who are they promoting the bill too local officials? Nothing like spending hundreds of thousand of dollars to bring her here for a photo-op.
