🦔 no but the reason why i feel weird about this is that
🦔 i have gotten into football in 2006 so that meand i have been a football fan for 20 years now
🦔 this world cup, the players who debuted around the time i started to like football in 2006, many of them played their last world cup this time you know…
🦔 ah right of course it’s only their last in the world cup and they still have matches left with their national teams and they usually retire with their club teams later on
🦔 but you know world cup is a really huge event in football, knowing i wont be able to see those players play on that big stage again, and on top of that, it’s those are players who started playing football when i started liking it, the fact that i wont be able to see them at world cup anymore makes my heart feel…
🦔 it’s like seeing the beginning and the end of an era and because this is the first time since liking football too, my heart feels strange ㅠㅠㅠ

🦔 those who have already confirmed their retirement or rumored players right now, there’s ronaldo, modrić, messi, neymar, casemiro, kanté, neuer, salah, ochoa, raúl jiménez, otamendi, perišić, james rodriguez, de bruyne, lukaku, nagatomo, xhaka, alaba, virgil van dijk, mané, jordan henderson, edin džeko, robertson, rüdiger, etc. this is what im saying
🦔 that’s basically almost a double squad if it’s this many
🦔 ofc there are players who retired last world cup but… there’s so many of them this time…
🦔 i already felt strange when kroos hyungnim retired and he’s just one person, how would i be able to handle this ㅠㅠㅠㅠ😭😭😭
🦔 thats why whenever i see those people get eliminated on each round, and whenever i see those people cry, i end up crying with them ㅠㅠㅠㅠ
🦔 ah right ofc a generation gappens happens and a new bunch of cool and talented players will emerge butttt ㅜㅜㅠㅠㅠ
🦔 i dont think i’ll ever forget all those players who played especially from mid 2000s to mid and late 2020s until the day i d i e
🦔 back when i was an elementary student, when i was on a football team, our coach was like so sad when players like beckham, ronaldo, ronaldinho and zidane retired, ofc i was disappointed too but i didn’t know back then why his heart seemed to ached so much ㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ
🦔 it hasn’t been long since i got into football that time and though young me wanted to see those legendary players more ㅠㅠ too bad ㅠㅠ but that’s just about as far as it felt aigoo… coach-nim, i get you now, i know how that feels too now…
🦔 i keep on going soccer this soccer that simply because i like it but it also influenced the music i love so much… and there are sooooo many aspects of it also being a team sport that makes me feel even more grateful about being in treasure and keeps me going
🦔 the football that i like gave so much strength to the music that i love that’s why im so thakful for football
🦔 ah im really being too emotional reaaaally~
