Did you know that the work happening in our Batten Conservation Complex is truly one-of-a-kind? Caring for USS Monitor’s iconic artifacts is the world’s largest marine metals conservation project. And, we love doing it alongside @MonitorNMS!

It's no secret that our Conservation team might have the coolest jobs💦💦
We moved USS Monitor's skeg elements over to our tank farm where they will undergo dry-ice cleaning. These elements are mostly comprised of hull fragments, bulkhead plates, and skeg beam. #iamaMariner
