Vote for your favorite causes this weekend on My Giving Circle! Based on the number of votes cast between November 1-3, MyGivingCircle will offer grants of up to $5,000 to nonprofits, charities, and community groups.
HHLT's Public Policy Manager Ted Warren joined the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and land conservation partners from NY, NJ, and CT on a hike up Storm King Mountain in the Town of Cornwall to celebrate the 20th Anniversary of the federal Highlands Conservation Act (HCA).
Recent reauthorization of this Act enabled this federally-recognized region to grow as more towns opt to be included, and grant opportunities are now available to local municipalities as well as state agencies.
