I will never forget this: Some Black Americans questioned Kamala Harris's cultural identity throughout her political career. The critique centered on her not growing up in a traditional Black American experience - her mother was Indian, her father Jamaican, although she did attend an HBCU and join a black sorority, and some felt she leaned into her identity selectively during election seasons. That tension was real and ran deep in certain corners of Black political conversation.

Then Bruce Fischer walked into that room.

He saw no Indian heritage. He saw no "is she Black enough" debate. He saw no nuance. He saw a Black woman holding power, and his entire body recoiled from it. The stuffed hand in the pocket, the averted eyes, the stiff posture - his body told the full truth of how he saw her.

That moment collapsed the entire internal debate in one second.

Racism operates on perception, and white supremacy has never required a purity test. It sees Blackness and responds to it. The same communities that debated her Blackness never had to convince Bruce Fischer of anything - he had already made his assessment.

This is a truth Black people have lived for generations. Mixed heritage, success, education, and titles change nothing in the eyes of those who carry that kind of contempt. The office of Vice President of the United States stood in front of him, and all he processed was a Black woman.

The contradiction wrote itself.

A $620 million Pentagon loan, the largest in the program’s history, to a company Don Jr.’s firm bought into three months before.

An Air Force drone contract to a startup the princelings took public through a golf course company they own a piece of.

The Army’s largest drone motor order ever, to a company where Don Jr. sits on the board and holds millions in stock.

A $24 million Pentagon robotics contract to the company that employs Eric as Chief Strategy Advisor.

A stake in the largest undeveloped tungsten deposit on earth, in Kazakhstan, backed by $1.6 billion in US government support.

Jared’s fund seeded with $2 billion from the Saudi crown prince, now $6.2 billion, 99% of it foreign money from Gulf governments. Over $110 million in fees collected from the Saudis alone. He negotiates American foreign policy with the governments that pay him.

$2.3 billion from crypto ventures their father regulates. More than a million people bought in and lost $2.3 billion. The money didn’t grow. It simply moved from the subjects pockets to the crown’s coffers.

And the next one is already drafted. A proposed ATF rule that will allow guns to be shipped straight to your front door. The government’s own estimate is 3.3 million home gun deliveries a year. Don Jr. sits on the board of the online gun megastore built to cash in. He holds 300,000 shares.

And that’s only the fraction they’ve allowed us to see. Not one subpoena served. Not one search executed. Why hide anything when you own the investigators?

Me? They searched a laptop for six years. Federal prosecutors. Grand juries. Subpoena power. Congressional hearings. They found nothing. I made about $200k a year selling paintings when my Dad was President, and they made my paintings part of an impeachment inquiry.

For six years they’ve asked Where’s Hunter? What about the laptop?

Wrong questions. The right one is 250 years old. Does America belong to a family?

They’ve given their answer. Long live the King.

A powerful Black woman, the first Black woman elected as San Francisco District Attorney, the first woman, and the first Black person to serve as California Attorney General. She was also the second Black woman ever elected to the U.S. Senate and the first woman to serve as acting President of the United States when presidential powers were temporarily transferred to her during President Joe Biden’s medical procedure on November 19, 2021. Additionally, she was the first Black woman nominated for president by a major U.S. political party when she became the Democratic nominee in 2024! Her name is Kamala Harris!!!

NY Attorney General Letitia James criticized NYC Mayor Mamdani and some of his endorsed candidates in New York City’s Democratic primaries, telling CNN that some of those candidates don’t understand the communities they want to represent and are disconnected from the history and struggles of many NYC districts.

She also said that she and other Democratic leaders are “disappointed” in Mamdani, adding, “All of us are a little frustrated with the Democratic Party. But you don’t blow it up. That’s what MAGA has done.”

Don’t use our resources. Don’t rely on our volunteers. Don’t use our infrastructure. Don’t ask Democrats to invest their time, money, and energy in your campaign.

Focus on building the party you actually support.

Political parties aren’t perfect, but they’re built by millions of people who knock doors, make calls, organize meetings, and fight for the values they believe in. If you don’t believe in the party, then don’t ask its members to carry you across the finish line.
