I’m fundraising for Dana-Farber AKA @TheJimmyFund and I want to share why this means so much to me. Cancer touches too many lives — people we love, people we look up to, people in our communities. Watching it affect those around us, feeling the fear and the uncertainty, it’s impossible not to want to do something. Dana-Farber gives people hope. They combine groundbreaking research with care that puts patients and families first, and they fight every single day to make a difference. Supporting that mission feels personal, and it feels necessary.
The people who engage with this account, who comment, like, retweet and support, you have made this possible for me. Your support allows me to grow, reach more people, and use this platform to try to make a difference in a fight that affects so many lives. Knowing that I can do this because of you makes every effort, every post, every word I share feel worth it. Your continued support and your belief in what I’m doing gives me the chance to give more, to help more, and to try to make an impact that matters.
Even if you can’t donate, please check out the link. Awareness is powerful. I will be helping too! Donating my full Twitter payments and more, and every contribution goes directly to patients, families, and life-changing research.
This isn’t just about raising money. It’s about hope. It’s about community. And it’s about saying we won’t let cancer define the lives of the people we love. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for supporting me and helping me try to make a difference. Together, we are all Jimmy. Together, we can defy cancer.
If you can, please retweet, like, and follow to help reach more people — it would mean the world.
