Congratulations to Shelby S. who accepted a scholarship on Feb. 7th from the West Point Leadership and Ethics Seminar. Shelby participated in the seminar last year and worked this year to continue practicing the ethical- decision making model and applied for the scholarship.

It’s National School Counseling Week! School counselors help students thrive in several ways— academically, socially, and with college-career planning. Helping students choose classes that will best help them learn and grow, the HHS counselors are in the midst of scheduling.

Thank you to the AP teachers who organized the parent/student event to help families choose AP classes for next year! The student panel offered families an important perspective from HHS graduates who took AP courses while in high school. @FTHighlandsHS

The Class of 2028 heard about the scheduling process for freshman year from Mrs. Listerman this morning, and tonight, we welcomed parents of incoming freshmen to hear about the scheduling process and to ask questions of teachers and current students. @FTHighlandsHS

HHS Counselors are on day 4 of 6, meeting one- on-one with students in grades 9-11 to plan courses for the 24-25 year. It’s exciting to plan for next year! @FTHighlandsHS
