@metsfan8626@TheGontheC This is the correct take with one caveat. If you had to eat the last few years of their deals that’s what Cohen is for. That’s ignoring of course the potential cap and philosophical issue. I’m ok with letting them go. Not ok with the replacement plan.
@Masterflip_@AndrewLiv Even I know McLean is toast at 90 pitches. The fact that Mendoza kept him out there was just proof that this regime has no fucking clue about winning. To them it’s something other teams do. Not us.
@Mets_Fan4_Life@Mets I would’ve been better off buying some shitcoin on Coinbase instead of what I spent on my ticket package. Just a complete waste of time and money. 😖
Dansby Swanson entered play this series with a .183 BA and .617 OPS this year. He's batting ninth in the Cubs' order.
Swanson has 3 HR, 1 2B and 11 RBI so far this series.
Look at the spots on these pitches on those 4 hits... All of them are misses right over the middle of the plate. Can't happen.
@metsfan8626 Cohen does whatever it is he wants. If the humiliation alone doesn’t cause him to fire Stearns you can’t hope that he’ll do it based on his POBO not owning the failure publicly. Stearns’ talent evaluation has been so bad that it’s hard to see how he can be trusted to fix this.
@metsfan8626 He’s going to give some half assed mea culpa and the fanbase is going to eviscerate him. The calls for his job from the fanbase and maybe the media are going to be deafening. Hope he kept his house in Milwaukee.
@metsfan8626 Even if he does, what gives you the confidence that he CAN fix it? That’s the issue. It’s hard to believe that a guy like Chris Getz is running circles around him but here we are. There is zero faith in the fanbase that he’s the person to fix his own mess. That’s the problem.
@metsfan8626 I’ve stopped wanting that. Him eating a big slice of humble pie does nothing for me. I just want this team to win and not waste Soto and Lindor. They seem intent on doing that. So fuck me.
