@kamikazecash @NBSaphierMD It could stand to reason that when each of these events took place one was provided all the documentation one would need for real i d. You get a birth certificate when you’re born, marriage license, divorce paperwork etc all docs are provided when the event takes place.

@BRWN_Philosophy @j_fishback As a mom of 4 sons, 2 of which are still in college (with ZERO financial aid), I can tell you it would matter to us! We are in the 5% you are talking about. That 5K would pay for an entire semester of school for one of our boys!

@BRWN_Philosophy @j_fishback You do realize that the top 5% is $295k annually (2024) for a household. Don’t get me wrong, that is a good living but it certainly is not wealth to the extent of not caring about an extra 5K.

@PLSgetserious My family has two people in it that require EpiPens. We have never paid either one of the prices you described. But, my husband does have a good job that provides health insurance, so maybe that’s why.
