@jessitron We are in a similar abyss in politics and economics: The most correct is very hard to get, and one has to teach new concepts to society to move forward.
@jessitron Aristotle is very far from the most accurate philosophy, but moving it forward was a matter of centuries of cultural change and using difficult concepts. This lowered the Field's utility to most.
@jessitron I could go on and on if required, but ultimately you get the drift: Having the people you need when you need them is a privilege. One that few have, and others do not deserve
@chimeracoder The fact that she says "one cast member", as if it was a random cast member, not one with the same name as the show, does not help either.
@avibryant It is developed at my current employer (which also released EvilPlot). We use it for real things, but a science startup is very different from Stripe
@isaach And let's not forget, top quality docs that are up to date are way too expensive, attention wise, for most services written in the world. My wsdl experience was all about those services where good docs would have been irresponsible
@isaach Mostly spec, plus doc display tools: Too much focus in pages for humans, filled with info that comes from strings people copy and paste badly. Swagger felt like it tried to be like Stripe's docs instead of wsdl, just way worse.
