@heidiperry1@scottmpetri@HMHCo@getwritable@ncte@writingproject Apologies for an extremely delayed reply (not on X much anymore). Yes, considering another season, as it is always on the “want to do” list. 😊 I’ll give it some more thought, and please keep sharing guest ideas!
@hickstro suggests that GenAI may be the death of the 5-paragraph essay. That is, students will have to create things through a process. Students can use GenAI and it does not destroy writing pedagogy, particularly if that pedagogy is process-based. #4C24
#4C24@hickstro is presenting about GenAI and writing, and he starts us off by getting us to talk to each other.... then asks that we popcorn and share.... "What can it do for us as teachers?"
Thanks @WCMUNews and Pressing Matters! In summer 2023, they visited our @chippewariverwp and TLC summer institute to interview @aschoenborn and me as we consider the possibilities that AI can offer to teachers and students. @CMUEHS

As the new semester begins, many faculty are again engaged in an ethical debate about the ways in which their students might use AI in their writing assignments, whether with explicit guidance and permission, or otherwise. https://t.co/lArCMaifVq
Thanks again to @BryanAlexander for the invitation to talk about AI in college writing on the Future Trends Forum this past week. As more of us explore the possibilities of AI in composition, the questions you and guests posed will guide our work. https://t.co/9X6CB2Sc3d
