#tbt To our annual Father’s Day on the Hill Event Yesterday!
A huge Thank You to everyone that came out! A special thanks to our speakers for sharing their stories and inspiring hope. Through active conversation and dialogue we can truly take action on addressing Mental Health!
We are incredibly excited to announce that our annual premier event: Father's Day on the Hill - Is only 1 Week Away!
We are also pleased to announce this year's Guest Speaker: Acting Platoon Chief Steve Jones, a firefighter and first responder with Burlington's Fire Department.
Father's Day on Hill is an annual event founded by MP @jeneroux, that brings together Parliamentarians from all parties, key mental health stakeholders and policy makers to discuss the importance of ending the stigma of mental health with a specific focus on men & fathers.
It's Mental Health Week in Canada!
Since 1951, the Canadian Mental Health Association has observed this week as a time to promote mental health discussion.
This year's theme is #MyStory, and you're encouraged to share your story; promoting conversation and reducing stigma.
#DYK: April is Stress Awareness Month.
Stress is something everybody experiences and which can cause negative effects on health. Yet recognizing stress is often difficult.
Take time this month to learn about stress and how you can best recognize it in yourself.

#DYK: According to a survey by Angus Reid, 63 per cent of Canadian men aged 18 to 34 experienced considerable loneliness and isolation. We must all work towards ending the stigma men face around accessing these services.

We’re all in this together… Whether in the daily challenges we face or the long running worries we all have, everyone is on this journey together.
Remember that you are not alone, to seek out others for support, and to let others come to you
