I think. And I could be premature on this. But I think the universe is doing its big one.

The bad guys are all going down. Dying. Losing influence. Fading away. And in their place, the good guys are coming to global prominence.

Tras el silbatazo final de la eliminación de Noruega en la Copa del Mundo, Orjan Nyland no pudo contener las lágrimas. El arquero estaba completamente desconsolado y se culpaba por el error que terminó en el gol de la victoria de Inglaterra.

Muchos recordarán únicamente esa jugada. Pero el fútbol no puede reducirse a un solo instante.

Durante todo el Mundial, Nyland fue uno de los grandes responsables de que Noruega alcanzara, por primera vez en su historia, unos Cuartos de Final. Fue figura en varias noches inolvidables y hasta le atajó un penal a Brasil para mantener vivo el sueño de todo un país.

Por eso dicen que ser arquero es la posición más cruel del fútbol: puedes salvar a tu equipo una y otra vez, pero un solo error es suficiente para que muchos olviden todo lo demás.

No hay peor sensación que sentirte responsable de la derrota cuando lo diste absolutamente todo.
