@gregmottola @nytimes I love the movie, but it’s refreshing that you rebutted 2 venerated Times critics who were so complacent about violence. There were a few top critics that notably hated it (David Denby for one) but obviously the Times has quintuple the circulation . FWIW It’s very well written!

@lurie_john I love ur work in “stranger than paradise” and “vortex” so this made me sad. Please also hate beheadings and rape and terrorism. It is possible to hate two sides that are killing innocent people. single minded hatred of Israel and glossing over of Hamas’ actions =heart breaking

Old computer tech aside, “last seduction” Amazingly hasn’t aged in 25 years and no mainstream noir film would be this ruthless today. Love the work by @Bill_Pullman_ and @pb44 and of course Fiorentino. And these reviews by @agmacor and @JanetMaslin . A must see!
