@NormanBrennan How do you know an officer works for the met? Ordinarily, they'll tell you but on this occasion Norman will tell us all. Seriously though, if you have good feedback you should tag them @MPSCommunities@metpoliceuk
Stop portraying The Duchess of Sussex as some kind of victim
She had single handedly tried to bring down the British monarchy because they wouldnβt sing to her tune.
The history of the monarchy goes way back further than an ambitious 1980s American actress.
@BADGER1407@NormanBrennan From my point of view, we've only seen a small proportion of the evidence however, from the evidence available it doesn't appear to me the man was able to walk away as the man on the left was constantly pushing. The man to the right was completely non- confrontational and calm.
@LambethMPS@helenhayes_@MayorofLondon@metpoliceuk ONS data shows that during 2020/21 police in England and Wales deployed spit and bite guards a total of 9,025 times, a 26% increase on the 7,172 occasions the controversial equipment was used the previous year.
@NormanBrennan @FCACF10 You know I have a lot of time for you Norman but occasionally you have a very black and white outlook which I can't wrap my head around. Each case on merit, whilst we compare cases, in case law you seldom come across comparisons of shooting to a stabbing or punch kills.
@NormanBrennan @FCACF10 I appreciate that's more time and effort however it isn't impossible to look for a conviction for both and if one falls at the first hurdle then so be it but we ought to start to treating cases as if the victim had died.
@NormanBrennan @FCACF10 the man who killed Olivia in Liverpool had intent the moment he made inquiries about the gun, that's easy to prove intent but I think it's easy enough to prove intent in this case, if the victim had died and therefore we should apply that same legal argument for attempted murder.
