Thanks to all submitted for the Building Stories open call. We'll be in touch soon 🙌🏽

There's a warning Britain's most dangerous plant is spreading its roots across Glasgow.
The touch of giant hogweed can cause blisters, 3rd degree burns & even blindness.
Locals say it's now prolific along the banks of the rivers Clyde & Kelvin - Gavin Kirby cycles along both.
Today marks the anniversary of the beginning of the second world war. The River Clyde and its industries played a significant role in the war effort in the UK. The Clydebank area was particularly affected by wartime bombings due to the shipbuilding taking place there.
What would you make of a linear park or civic waterfront space by the Clyde linking all crossings?
How about an event space with quality seating or even a water-taxi?

A lovely watercolour from our collection of the Cloch Lighthouse by James Chalmers (fl 1880-1900). The Cloch opened in 1797 and was designer by Scottish lighthouse engineers Thomas Smith and his son-in-law Robert Stevenson.
What would you make of a linear park/ civic waterfront space by the Clyde linking all crossings? How about an event space with quality seating or even a water-taxi? Let us know if you want to see these improvements take place.

Glasgow City Council have revealed they are carrying out a feasibility study into geothermal energy. The project would involve creating a 6km geothermal well under the banks of the River Clyde. This would help provide cleaner and cheaper energy.
