@FlorinIluta They can, if they make another purchase. In our case apple usually won't approve a second refund request from a user who has already had one approved
Our refund rate sits at around 1.5%. Those visible spikes are actually abusers, people who've been using the app for months, burning through credits, and then requesting refunds anyway. Apple approved them π€‘ interestingly enough. And they're still using the app, by the way. At least their latest refund request got denied.
Honestly, I'm not a fan of Apple's refund system. They cannot detect abusers.
We've been testing different App Store screenshot sets for over a month, and we finally increased our conversion rate by nearly 1.7% (from 4% to 5.7%) which is huge when 100k people download your app every month. Use Product Page Optimization in App Store Connect.
Hi, I'm a developer based in Turkey.
I'm going to share what I've learned building my apps, without revealing the apps themselves; so please don't ask "what's the app?" Hopefully some of it helps, or gives you a push to start or scale.
A few things upfront:
β I'm not here to make money off you. No courses, no calls, nothing to sell. Ever.
β I won't reveal my identity or my products.
β I'll post revenue/mrr numbers, but I won't spend time proving they're real. If you're skeptical, just skip the account. I don't owe anyone proof.
The only reason I opened this account: I think X is where I can find good people - especially in the areas where I'm unskilled - to build with and scale the portfolio together.
Mostly I'll write about the road from $0 to ~$300k/mo: what I tested, what worked, and what didn't.
Welcome.
