@DollyT222027 Speaking from working in the disability field, we were told not to use italics because it can be a lot harder for someone with vision issues. Also sometimes I guess screen readers get confused by it (not sure if screen readers still have issue with it).
I broke my arm in January once and needed a jacket I could wear outside in the cold and snow when my arm was in a sling. Sure you can just one arm a regular jacket but that works like shit. But I found a thick woolen cape at the Cracker Barrell and it was a GAME CHANGER
One of the greatest crimes of 20th-century fashion was the death of the cape.
For centuries, people looked at a cape and thought, "Hell yeah." Then modern fashion came along and decided everything had to be jackets, hoodies, and coats. Not even capelets survived the purge. And now if you wear one, people mock you for it.
God, I hate modern fashion.
@zosanworld I think it needs to be something he can be #1 in. His ship role is basically the same as his life goal, so its likely in an au his job would do the same.
i find it weird that nowadays young members of fandom, especially minors, are so comfortable insulting and witchhunting the older fans.
when i was a kid in fandom spaces, i remember holding so much admiration and respect for the older fans. after all, they kept it all going
