@Christi34606551@sappholives83 You completely missed the PRIVATE part. & those are WITHIN the church they attend...not just anyone, anywhere. Which proves my other point...it's someone who knows the other person already...not a rando. But...if you won't listen to me, you won't listen to God...right? ๐
@AidanCTweets@sappholives83 One tweet, no matter how lengthy, doesn't represent what is going on in one's heart & mind. You do not know this person. God does. That's all that matters.
@Christi34606551@sappholives83 Your comment smacks of arrogance, which is a sin, that you know this person whom God loves. Their lifestyle is none of your business. Condemning them is also a sin. God doesn't categorize "big" sin or "little" sin. He hates it all.
@Tsaiswrong@ChrisFinlan@sappholives83@zay_sosilly One's relationship w/God is one's own business. Unless you have a personal relationship w/someone & can see their actions on a regular basis, & those actions are truly concerning you about their behavior, THEN you have earned the privilege to point them to relevant verses, w/luv
@catturd2 I say this with all seriousness. Research home births. I had 3 of my 4 at home with a midwife who was like a 2nd mom to me. She did gently persuade me to go to the hospital with my 4th, who was footling breach & I had to have a C-section. Home births are better for mom & baby.
@MattWalshBlog She is 100% wrong, but her bad character doesn't define all women pastors nor should it jeopardize other women in following their calling. Just like any bad acts of some male pastors doesn't define all male pastors.
@MattWalshBlog Far more men have besmirched the pulpit & expected their congregation to "look the other way" because "grace" & "forgiveness", but refusing to change. That does damage to God's name. Your take is misogynistic. God is not a misogynist. If He were, He wouldnโt be worth following.
The โmen are visual creaturesโ argument accidentally makes the case against male leadership.
If seeing a woman in leggings is enough to overpower your judgment, apparently your behavior can be controlled by the nearest female body.
That is not leadership.
Even the Bible places responsibility for lust on the person doing the lusting. Jesus does not say, โIf your eye causes you to sin, tell her to put on a longer skirt.โ
He tells you to deal with your eye.
Christian men cannot claim women need male leadership while simultaneously teaching that male self-control depends on women managing the environment for them.
At that point, who is actually managing whom?
@MattWalshBlog Or, just maybe, it's the lazy men who refused to get a job, so the women had to go get one. Then, the women worked their way up. ๐คทโโ๏ธ Dead beat men are a dime/dozen. Dead beat women, however, are much more rare.
@MNuri39@PotatoDoggies Not really. Who leaves their kids with someone they KNOW is unsafe? She is 100% guilty of murder, but he should be charged with child endangerment.
A lot of โshe blindsided meโ really means โI knew she was unhappy, I just didnโt believe her unhappiness would ever have consequences for me.โ
He thought every argument that ended with her staying meant the relationship had survived another problem.
She thought every argument that ended without change meant the relationship had moved one step closer to ending.
By the time she leaves, heโs processing the breakup like itโs new information, but sheโs been processing it and getting ready to move on for years.
Girls will survive absolutely unearthly levels of emotional devastation and still be answering emails, running errands, showing up to brunch, and asking everyone else if they're okay.
A man will experience one formative event at age 12โhis parents divorce, his football coach yells at him, a girl rejects him in middle schoolโand suddenly every decision he makes for the next 40 years is part of an elaborate revenge arc.
She turns pain into productivity.
He turns pain into a personality.
@Mr_Husky1 Not if they become a stranger the moment u say, "I do." & then u spend the next decade looking for the person u thought u married. Only to realize it was a fraud. By then, u have kids and have built a life, but ur still looking at the stranger, trying to find the person u knew.
@Bradley_Cude@GabrielHudelson@nathanweisser @dailywireplus Not to mention King David's own daughter being r*ped by her own brother...and David does nothing about it. In fact, it was culturally acceptable to r*pe her w/the king's permission, which she begged him to get 1st. Instead, he had his own way w/her w/o her father's permission.
